Play 17-0
Build the perfect NFL roster across six franchise eras
Spin a team and decade, draft one eligible star from each draw, and find out whether your roster can finish undefeated.
How to Play 17-0
Build the strongest six-pick lineup available from your draws and see how it would perform over a 17-game NFL season.
Get a team and decade
Each of the six rounds spins an NFL franchise and decade. You have one franchise reroll and one decade reroll for the entire draft, and each must be used before selecting that round’s player.
Choose a player or defense
Search at least three letters from a player’s first or last name. The player must have appeared for that exact franchise during the selected decade. Choosing DEF uses that franchise-decade’s highest-rated qualifying team defense.
Set your lineup
Drag the selection to a highlighted position or select the card and then its destination. Existing picks can be rearranged before advancing; when a legal move requires a swap, the lineup automatically shifts the affected cards.
Advance each round
Review the formation before advancing. Every round contributes exactly one selection, and the next franchise-decade spin begins only after the current pick is placed.
See your projected record
After six rounds, 17-0 grades the five offensive seasons and selected team defense, compares your roster with the best legal lineup from the same six draws, and projects a record over 17 games.
Position rules
QB and DEF fill only their matching slots. RB, WR, and TE may also fill FLEX. Every player and defense can be used only once.
How Roster Scoring Works
Player grade
Each offensive grade is 55% production, 30% efficiency, and 15% dominance. Qualifying season honors and championships can add up to eight points, with the final grade capped at 100.
Production
Full-season passing, rushing, or receiving output for the player’s position. Missed games already reduce these totals, so availability is not graded separately.
Efficiency
Position-specific rate performance: passer rating and interceptions for quarterbacks, rushing and touch efficiency for running backs, and yards per target and catch rate for receivers and tight ends.
Dominance
A season-value measure compared with players at the same position in the same season.
Team defense
Defense is 45% pass defense, 35% run defense, and 20% dominance. Selecting DEF automatically uses the highest-rated qualifying season for that franchise and decade.
Lineup quality
The five offensive-player grades make up 80% of the roster rating. Team defense makes up the remaining 20%.
Projected wins
The roster rating converts nonlinearly into wins over a 17-game season. A true 17-0 projection requires at least a 99.0 rating, calibrated so only roughly one percent of weighted six-draw games can reach perfection with optimal choices.
Your result reflects only the six selections available from your six franchise-decade draws—not an unrestricted all-time lineup.
