Play Connections
Sort 16 NFL players into four connected groups
Select four players who share one football connection. Find every group before using four mistakes, and watch for categories that overlap.
What Is NFL Connections?
Connections is a daily NFL grouping game. The board contains 16 player names that form four exact groups of four, with each group tied together by one football category.
How To Play Connections
Select four players and submit them as a group. A correct group locks into the board and reveals its category. An incorrect group costs one mistake; “One away” means three of the four selected players belong together.
You can shuffle the unsolved names whenever you want. Each player belongs to one intended group, even when another plausible connection makes the board deliberately tricky.
Finding the connection
Look across all 16 names before submitting your first group. A player can share a college with one set of names and a former team with another. Find four names that fit the same specific category, then check what that leaves for the other groups.
For example, you might spot three players from one college and a fourth who was their NFL teammate. That fourth name still needs to fit the college category. If you get “One away,” three of your selections belong together, but the game does not identify which three. Reconsider the connection before spending another mistake.
Connections Scoring
Each solved group earns 20 Gridiron, and completing all four adds a 20-point perfect-board bonus. Daily leaderboard ties favor the faster active completion time.
